why would satan try to cause contention within a family?
--> the family is the central unit of society, and central to God's plan. if he can break up families, he has won his battle. no success outside the home can compensate for failure within the home. everything we do should strengthen our families, yet sometimes we treat the people that are the very closest to us the very worst. this is exactly what satan wants. satan is readily attacking the family every moment of every day. are we fortified and fighting back? this is why family scripture study and family prayer, family activities to bind us together, and family goals and councils are so vitally important. my family is not perfect, but i am grateful for wonderful siblings and parents whom i can fight this battle with! there's no one else i would rather have by my side :)
