as we celebrate the Savior's birth, what can we do to better serve Him with real intent?
--> they say that people's prayers are answered through other people who are sensitive enough to the whisperings of the spirit to listen and know who in their life needs them. one way i would like to serve Christ better in 2015 is to pray for opportunities to bless those that have prayed for a miracle or for angels, then willingly respond to that prompting. i know a girl named jentrie that has recently been diagnosed with cancer and is constantly posting the most inspiring things on her blog. the other day she was sharing a story where she prayed about this exact thing and the miracle that ensued after she followed the prompting and acted. she said one thing that especially stood out to me... she said rather than saying "let us know if we can help" or something to that effect, she said "i'm bringing dinner at 6". i realized when i was reading this that if we ask for help, we aren't any help at all because we are still begging them to ask us for something they need rather than seeing the need and filling it. no one likes to be a project, but everyone needs their prayers answered through earthly angels. i hope to be an earthly angel for many more people this year than i have been in the past :)
