what can we learn from these verses about the dangers of false doctrines?
--> verse 18 shows that korihor, the antichrist, led many people away because of the things he taught. in this regard, being caught up in false doctrines eventually causes us to jeopardize not only our salvation and ability to recognize and act on promptings of the spirit, but also every one else around us.
