what lessons did mormon want us to learn from amalickiah's actions?
--> i don't know what lessons he wanted us to learn... but i will tell you what i did learn... i apply amalickiah's cunningness and actions to that of the devil. he is sneaky. he asks us repeatedly or tempts us, then when we don't give in, he compromises and gets us to compromise. he says, "oh, just come down a little... we will come up 98% of the way. you can even bring your guards with you." then, when we are weak and falling, he attacks and we fall. lehonti was a good, righteous man. but he fell captive to amalickiah's cunning plan.
