when have you been obedient to one of Heavenly Father's commandments in an especially difficult circumstance? how do you feel you were blessed for doing so?
--> there was a specific day on my mission that i really didn't feel like fasting. fasting has always been a hard commandment for me, and this day in particular, i just wasn't excited about it. i was excited about the cause that we were fasting for, but not about the actual fasting. but i prayed for strength, and i did it. i felt so blessed because just a few hours into our fast, the investigator that we were fasting about, called and told us she was ready to be baptized. that wasn't exactly what we were fasting for, but it was even better than what we were, and what we thought we wanted. God hears and answers prayers and goes to great lengths to bless us when we do what He asks.
