why do you think it's important to know that satan organizes his forces to lead us away from God and His laws?
--> when you are preparing an investigator to take the leap of faith and be baptized, one thing you always, always talk about with them is opposition. opposition always comes to those who are trying to do good. for a soon-to-be member of the church, i think it's important to be aware of this opposition because some can take it the wrong way... like, "if this is so hard and so many bad things are happening, maybe the choice to be baptized wasn't the right one after all", or "i thought accepting the gospel would make things work out better, not cause a load of hard things to come". it's just as important to understand the role of satan as it is to understand the role of the Savior in our lives - that way we can recognize when his influences are creeping into our lives, then be actively pursuing to resist them or combat them.
