what actions show that you and your family have turned your hearts to the Lord?
--> "repentance: a turning of he heart and will to God" (bible dictionary). repentance is a daily way we can show that our hearts are turning to God. when we choose to repent, we are choosing to abandon things that are keeping the spirit away from us and allowing peace and goodness to come back into our lives. as the bible dictionary also says, this process brings "a fresh view about God, about oneself, and about the world." what isn't appealing about that?
