what does "armed with righteousness and with the power of God" mean to you?
--> when i hear the phrase "armed with righteousness", i can't help but think about being dressed in the armor of God. having the breastplate of righteousness, the sword of the spirit, the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, and feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. when i picture myself clothed in all that, i picture myself ready to fight the battles of the day. the image of being armed with righteousness is pretty cool to picture. God is all powerful and all-knowing... so if i can qualify myself to have even a small measure of that power and righteousness with me everyday, well hey, that's pretty cool.
