what can we learn about the bible and the book of mormon in these verses?
--> all scripture has one purpose: to testify that Jesus is the Christ. verse 40 speaks to this: "...these last records... shall establish the truth of the first, which are of the twelve apostles of the Lamb, and shall make known the plan and precious things which have been taken away from them; and shall make known to all kindreds, tongues, and people, that the Lamb of God is the Son of the Eternal Father, and the Savior of the world; and that all men must come unto him, or they cannot be saved"
i love the book of mormon. i love the bible. they go hand-in-hand in testifying that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. they are meant to be studied side by side, as companion records.
