how do these verses influence your understanding of the atonement?
--> i love the prophet thomas s. monson. i love our previous prophet gordon b. hinckley. i love reading about prophets in the new and old testament, the book of mormon, and the other modern day prophets and the things they were willing to do to witness of the Savior Jesus Christ. prophets have been chastised for their teachings and beliefs for generations. when i think about all the people who have faced so many hard things for the Savior, i can't help but be in awe at the atonement. there are many reasons i know the atonement really happened and was personal for me, but this morning, my testimony was strengthened in thinking about all the good people who have faced terrible things to testify of the Savior and His atonement.
