Jacob 5: 35 - 48

how does the master's care for his vineyard represent the Lord's love for us?

--> when i read this parable, i am always amazed at how well the Lord of the vineyard knows each tree.  He knows exactly what each tree needs to thrive and succeed, though it is not the same for all of them.  in our lives, the Lord knows exactly what we need as well.  He knows us perfectly, and loves us perfectly.

in verse 41, the Lord of the vineyard weeps for the branches that are lost and asks "what more could i have done for my vineyard?"  He truly is grieved that He has lost a tree.  this is the same as when He sees some of the choices that we are making in our lives, he weeps when we do not do what is right because He can't bear to lose us.
