what do you think it means to experience a "change of heart"?
--> a change of heart is preceded with a change of perspective. it's hard to change your heart when you don't have an experience that will inspire you to do so. when we experience the spirit nudging us to do something or change something, we feel the need to change our hearts and turn towards God.
"behold, he changed their hearts; yea, he awakened them out of a deep sleep, and they awoke unto God. behold, they were in the midst of darkness; nevertheless, their souls were illuminated by the light of the everlasting word."
