mosiah 22: 10 - 23: 15
how have you been an instrument in the Lord's hands?
--> one cool experience that's happened recently: a few weeks ago i had the impression that i needed to start a scripture study group. i had been struggling to find meaning in my scripture studies and thought this would be a great way to pick up some momentum and have discussions with people about what i was reading. so, i invited a bunch of people after gauging interest, and so it began.
the first week, a girl came that is fairly new in the ward. after all was said and done she asked why i started this group. i told her my reasoning and she said, "no, this is for me!" she has been inactive for some time and while she was away from the LDS church, was attending Bible study with a friend. she loved that and had been missing that aspect of her life since coming back. as she was talking i just got this overwhelming feeling that she was the reason i was inspired to start this study. sure, it has been and will continue to benefit me, but Heavenly Father needed me to be an instrument in His hands and help her.
there are few feelings more fulfilling than acting on a prompting we receive and watching God's plan unfold.
