how does it help you to hear examples of God's goodness and power in the lives of others?
--> i love reading examples in the scriptures because it proves that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is still helping us today as He was helping people long ago. He is still intimately involved in our lives, just as He was intimately involved in the people hundreds and thousands of years ago. reading about examples like these in the scriptures helps me see patterns in the ways that the Lord communicates and interacts with His children. as i learn more about these patterns, it helps me understand how He interacts with me in my own life too.
